Support the Idaho Black History Museum by becoming a member. 2016 has been an eventful year for the museum. We had visits from many area elementary, junior high and high schools . More than 15 classes visited the museum in the first few months of the year. Local colleges Boise State, NNU and College of Idaho also had classes that utilized the museum as an educational opportunity. We were also fortunate to partner with the ACLU for community discussions and education regarding how to “know and utilize your rights.” The museum also worked with local law enforcement to facilitate an open discussion regarding how the police and the community can work together. We also had visits from local senior living facilities, students of home schooling, and early education pre-k classes. We look forward to an eventful 2017 and your support makes it possible.
